GIS experience: Silvia Grava
Silvia Grava is a GIS specialist with a degree thesis in remote sensing and a specialization in geospatial sciences. She is currently working at ARS Progetti, a multidisciplinary consulting firm developing projects worldwide, for and with the main international donor agencies.
ARS main sector of activity range from institutional straightening and governance, urban infrastructure, engineering and environment, urban planning, to cultural heritage and tourism.
In all these fields, GIS is one of the main components used in supporting the decision-making process; GIS allow to find interconnections between complex phenomena and issues, concurrent in providing guidelines and solutions to real concrete problems affecting human beings and territory.
